Our limousin golden apple has found its soil on the limousin high plateau, between an altitude of 300 and 500 m, to express its exceptional flavor.

• Its crunchy and juicy flesh guarantees a subtle balance between sugar and acidity.
• The alternation of the cool nights and sunny days lets it have beautiful blushing rosy colours.

Combining soil and appropriated culturals practices makes our apples an unic and inimitable fruit deserving on DPO. It actually had been crowned in 2005 throught obtaining its DPO "Pomme du Limousin".

A little of history...
It's in the 1950's when the first apples trees were planted in Limousin, at the instigation of Guy Chauffaille. In 1958, he decides with André Michon, arboriculturist, to introduce the variety golden by planting 100 hectares on the Domaine de la Meynie.

La Meynie en Limousin gives then its name to our packing station : MEYLIM
